During the 40 hours I spent riding buses on my last trip to Mexico I rediscovered my love for sketching. From empty barrels to watermelon boats I doodled around until I cartooned my own version of Tapachula. This only fed my desire to go buy some cheap paint and slap it on a wall… so, I did.
A bunch of the grommies at Mision Mexico helped me paint this and my surfboard over a 2 week period (during the rain season) which was all caught on film, but potentially lost when my laptop karked it. Only today I recovered a few photos of the finished product for your viewing pleasure.
I gotta draw more.
