With every action comes a re-action. Like sometimes when you make a film in Mexico you end up in a van a year later driving around Australia with your mates screening that film for crowds in towns you'd never heard of… epic.
Over 6 weeks we drove from Sydney to Noosa, Gympie to Dubbo and Adelaide to Melbourne screening the documentary Somewhere Near Tapachula. Jonno and I were lucky enough to be joined by the talented Ed Worland who played his smooth bluesy tunes before each show along with special guest and star of the film Moacir Zeledon.
After 25 shows we had raised over $80,000 for Mision Mexico and distributed over 5000 dvd's to the audiences. Following the Australian tour we hit the USA for shows in California, Florida, New York, Seatlle and Colorado creating memories that will stick with me forever.
